Rock Asylum in the News.... Again! | |||||
This past Wednesday morning, News 12 Brooklyn's Nicole Ryan was the latest to do a piece on Rock Asylum and its founder, Paulie Z. Part of News 12's Cool At School series, the segment focused largely on the students at P.S. 196 and the release of our new video, "Rounding", written, produced, and filmed at the school by the students and Paulie Z. This latest song/video explains how to round numbers, shows real life applications such as how to leave a tip for a waiter on a check, and features the students themselves actively working out the problems, while throwing in some impressive choreography as well because this is after all, a music video. Speaking on the success of this latest project as well as the program itself, P.S. 196 educator Rosalia Ferraro stated, "I wish every school could have this music and song to learn everything, because that's the way they learn the best." Our congratulations again to the enormously talented students and teachers at P.S. 196, and remember, the next time you're trying to figure out the tip on a check, just repeat the lyrics to the song; "5 or more, let it soar. 4 or less, let is rest!"
