Helllooo everyone!

 

 

We hope you've been doing well in 2013 so far!  Sending a note to thank everyone for supporting us and to tell you personally that, well, we think you're prett-ay awesome for keeping tabs on us.

 

 

Michael & I are still plowing away in the studio at Odd Street in Athens, GA wrapping up the final recording tasks needed to complete the first Sans Abri album-- no title yet, but one's comin!  Before that is released, we're pleased to announce that we're gonna be featuring Michael's song, "Self Preservation" on a  record compilation being put out by Twin Cousins Records.  Release date will be March 30, 2013...check out the Twin Cousins Twitter page for more info.

 

 

Thursday, 2/21/13 @ Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA:

 

Sans invites Cicada Rhythm, who will bring some chilling harmonies, unbridled enthusiasm, and some wholesome tunes joining us that evening, and ATL author, Gina Rickicki to share the bill this Thursday night.  During the show, Gina will kick things off with a reading before Cicada starts, then she'll read again before Sans takes the stage.  We met her the night we played the Creative Loafing Fiction Contest...she won a reading "battle"; it was adult-hood theme vs childhood theme.  7 min for each author to read a short excerpt...as close as an author can get to a rap-freestyle battle.  Gina won with adulthood.  Pretty cool, actually, and the crowd was psyched!  

 

 

Saturday, 3/30/13 @ The World Famous in Athens, GA 

  

Sans is happy to be supporting The High Strung String Band at their album release of "Rise and Shine" at this new venue in downtown Athens, GA!  Tix & More info tba.
