Just sang the National Anthem at a baseball
game in Marin yesterday! It was an honor, and such a sweet place-full of warm, local
neighborhood people, lots of wide-eyed kids, and complete with musical chairs, burrito
eating contest, Drake the Duck mascot (gotta hand it to him-it was SIZZLING yesterday!)
and other races for the kids between each inning. Just the way baseball should be...

are arising; I've made a ton of new friends who have discovered Aoede's music, and
it brings a smile to me that so many of you are so supportive of my dream! The competition
is fierce, and I am just crazy grateful to be given the opportunity! May I be able
to support your dreams too!

I am privileged to be telling my story and performing alongside American
Idol's Blake Lewis and Jessica Lerner for a fundraiser event for CureJM (Juvenile Myostis) Foundation. Basically, it’s
the children’s version of the same auto-immune condition that I have, so
it is near and dear to my heart. Further, Mason, a very special kid, tireless fighter
and light, just lost his battle to this wretched disease... so I’m hoping
I can inspire the kids and give them hope :) If you are in the Portland area,
