Hello folks,

As we continue working on a big batch of material here at Area AKF, we have also been working on a completely anaolog recording at Amplified Heat's studio, with Gian Ortiz engineering and producing. Having a whole lotta fun. Hoping to have a little vinyl EP thing happening in time for SXSW. Speaking of which, we will be posting SXSW dates soon.

 

Here's what's coming up:

2/13- The Sahara Lounge, Austin with our friends Future Genius and Machete Western

2/22- The Legendary White Swan, with Furk King and Hyde Park Show Down

3/15- Monique, Mike & Brad will be switching gears to do a special Monique Ortiz show during SXSW at Strange Brew. Mike will be switching to guitar, Brad will be on reeds, Monique on a variety of instruments, performing the music of her earlier projects, Bourbon Princess, A.K.A.C.O.D. and more.

3/22 AKF go to Houston's SuperHappyFunLand for the SXSW Overflow Fest.
