"Second Signs", by Kristin Marie McKnight-Pulin and Rich Pulin " Rich

"
There are a lot of good jazz discs on the market..great discs, like "Pulin For YOU
2", are rare!
To have the likes of the late John Guerin, Bill Watrous, Carl Saunders and Steve
Huffsteter, former Horace Silver saxophonist, Doug Webb, and a couple of other "not
too shabby" trombonists, Scott Whitfield and Andy Martin, and former tonight show
and Steelie Dan stalwart Pete Christlieb?..the list goes on,Pianist Ron Feuer..
drummers Tony Inzalaco and Santo Savino and bassists, Pat Senatore, Dave Stone,
and Bill Van Ravensburg.
Pulin, brings this recording to life, having penned 10 of the 16 tunes on this disc, every
one of his songs are masterpieces..Listen to "Baby J", and "Little Friend"..Pulin
solos on these two and you just don't hear trombone playing like this too often..One
final choice would be "The Bridge"..its impossible to tell where Pulin and Watrous
start and stop their solos..buy it!

"Great session, Great Musicians
author: Tim Taylor-JavaMan
There is not much more I could add to the other reviews here. I am profoundly appreciative
to hear this album. The packaging was the one thing that threw me. But times being
what they are, It is a massively good buy for the jazz received. I think you will
join me in toe tapping, finger snapping and a little scatting along with this recording." Tim
