Don't Want to Wait 3 Months to Hear the New Album?
Donate by Midnight Tonight for Immediate Download

Howdy y'all!

Only a few hours left of what's turned out to be an incredible funding campaign for our album, Jump at the SunWow!  We've been blown away by everyone's generosity.  So much so that we want to give everyone who has given to the album an extra gift to say THANK YOU!  But before we tell you about that, we wanted to share some exciting reviews that the new album has been getting.  We figure you'd like to hear since you're such a big part of it!
Here's a preliminary review of a couple of tracks by the Bluegrass Situation, a popular online blog run by Ed Helms (yes, Andy from the Office):

"The banjo heavy 'Built These Walls' is a blue collar ballad we can all get behind, while 'Paint This Town' is a shine-fueled, fiddle-flying hoedown."
And check out this great review from Merlefest, where we debuted many of the songs off the new album.  Looks like they liked it!
Bonus Gift: Ireland E-Book

So as a Thank You to you all for being a part of the album, we want to gift all who contribute to the album a FREE E-Book download of Dan and Alex's recent trip to Ireland.  The boys went out with a good friend who is a writer to scout our upcoming Scythian Fan Trip to Ireland in October (check out more info HERE!), and as always happens in Ireland, came back with a hundred stories, some fact, some fiction.  We'll let you sort out which are which!

The print version, available soon, is a coffee table-style travel book.  Both the print and e-book editions are packed with beautiful pictures of magical Ireland, along with 13 short stories of the adventures we had. You'll see the stories behind two of the songs from the album, the title track Jump at the Sun, and the opening track, Paint This Town, and how they were directly inspired by their adventures.  Other Scythian songs are featured in the book as well. If you've ever been to Ireland, you'll be reminded how Ireland sits snugly in the crease between myth and magic, peppered with the occasional true happenstance.  If you haven't been to Ireland, well, consider this an introduction!

Give Now, Get TWO Bonus Gifts!
So if you haven't given, we invite you to be a part of our special 10th year. Lots of fun ways to be included, including an album listening party in DC and PA, a dinner date with the band, an exclusive album hoodie, and even a chance to be included in the liner notes as an Executive Producer!  Any and ALL contributors, no matter how little, will get our bonus pub album, signed and sent to them (we will be recording it this Fall, thanks to your generosity!), as well as the E-Book.

And perhaps best of all, if you contribute today by midnight, you will get an immediate download of the album, just finished, three months before most of the civilized world gets to hear it!  Please let us know what you think!

It all ends at midnight tonight!  Thanks for making this such a success and for telling us you want us to make that second bonus album.  We're very excited about it!  Hope you like the new tunes!
Most gratefully,
Alex, Dan, Joey, Ben-David and Tim

"[Scythian is] what happens when rock star charisma meets Celtic dervish fiddling."  Nashville's Music City Roots

"[Scythian has] reinvented folk rock in America."  iHeartRadio's Arroe Collins

"“I’ve never seen a band engage so directly with an audience or work them over so efficiently. [Scythian gives] no quarter in their quest to entertain and bring a joy to their music that gives it an irony-free, wide open feel of manic possibility. The playing is technically brilliant, but it is the energy that carries the day.”"  Camel City Dispatch (Winston-Salem, NC)
