Hello, all of you lovely folks!

It's been a while, right?  Geesh!  Life just gets a movin' and a shakin' - and time flies when you're having fun!  I have been bee-boppin' around Reno, playing a lot of acoustic shows with some wonderful local artists..... I feel so humble and grateful that we live in such an amazing community....jam packed with such great people and a fabulous arts scene.  The support we provide each other makes me all warm and cushy inside.  We truly are one BIG RENO MUSIC / ARTS FAMILY.  ;-D

I am PLEASED as PUNCH to announce that I have been cast in this years musical at Bruka Theatre - SIX WOMEN WITH BRAIN DEATH OR EXPIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW (details below).  I am simply elated to perform, on stage, with 5 extremely talented women, including Reno and San Fransisco celebrity, CAMI THOMPSON!  She is a wicked performer, and a hoot and a half to be around!

I hope you will come and join us for this witty, crass, and uncomprimising show!!!

Hoping this message finds you happy and living your dreams!

Much love and many, MANY thanks for your continued support!

"One true sign of a good entertainer is a demostrative ease of diversity. This is to say, you can place them in any context, and they’ll do what entertainers are meant to do: They stun, they stand out, and they shine. This is a talent. This is something that can be fine-tuned and nurtured over the years, but it is not something that can be taught. It’s like they say: You either got it, kid, or you don’t. For local singer-songwriter Lacey Mattison, this is how her journey has been defined."  Marvin Gonzalez, Reno News and Review

"Reno's BEST albums of 2010: "#5. Nothing Like a Dame, "Nothing Like a Dame." Canary-voiced Lacey Mattison proved songwriting chops on solo recordings but with four hot players behind her, exuberant sensuality takes hold. A half-dozen spirited pop-rock-folk-jazz songs (all but one by Mattison, the other by bassist/singer Gia Torcaso), range from hormone-tickling to sweetly seducing. Available on iTunes. Hot track: "All Afternoon.""  Mike Sion, Reno Gazette Journal

"Nothing Like a Dame’s formidable live sets are raucous, amped up, booty shaking affairs."  Oliver Ex, Reno Tahoe Tonight
