 Hey all,

Things are real busy over here and I've got a bunch of events coming up. The first one is an art show coming up this Friday...

Friday, May 10th, from 6-10pm, at the Cornelia Arts Building -- my studio will be open to display recent works. There will be over 30 artists opening up their studios to the public. This event is free. Plus there's live music and a food truck! Check out our Facebook invite (and share!). Address: 1800 W. Cornelia Ave in Roscoe Village.

MUSIC NEWS: I am artist of the month for May for Charlie Crane's Stereo Hysteria Podcast. The show, in general, is so great, so well put-together, so interesting. You should check it out. I am featured in Episode 123. You'll hear some songs off of five separate albums/EPs, plus a live New Missionaries track.

...if you ever wanted to hear the back story about many of my songs, or get a synopsis of what the Antifolk movement was in the early 2000s, or find out how I started playing guitar and how I approach songwriting, and where my career is heading next, then this is the interview to listen to! I have to say that this is probably the best interview I've ever done.

UPCOMING MUSIC SHOWS:

Saturday, May 25th, New Missionaries at Reggie's in Chicago, IL

Tuesday, May 28th, Randi Russo Solo Show at Township in Logan Square, Chicago -- with Linda Draper (my talented friend from Brooklyn who is currently on tour) and the Oarsman (a fantastic act from Chicago which is receiving all sorts of accolades these days).

More details for both shows to be announced soon...

Here's a painting and a song...
