Greetings  ,

Good Bye Sochi Winter games. It was enjoyable to watch and exciting to see the world come together. For the athletes, it’s got to be an incredible time just to be there.

Feeling God’s Favor
Well a lot has been happening in the music world here. I recently performed at a private party for a women’s 70th birthday party. It was a blast and very enjoyable. After words I received many favorable comments and extra tips which always helps. The owners of the event place were so impressed that they put me on the preferred list of entertainment. So hopefully more opportunities will arise.

This past Sunday I had a chance to minister one of my favorite Christian songs called “Jesus Messiah”, (by Chris Tomlin), In church. I love this song and it received an overwhelming response. It was a joy for me to minister and perform that song. Afterword’s an Asian lady came up to me and just said how much that song blessed her. I love the chance to minister and it’s even more exciting when I actually feel the Holy Spirit come through. I wish that those type of moments would last longer than they do.

This past week or so, I was contacted by a producer from Baton Rouge, LA to see if I would be interested in collaborating with him on songs for film and TV. I said I was interested so he sent me some songs so I am working on those ideas. I’m hoping it works out financially for all of us.

Going To Nashville

Well I am planning a trip to Nashville in April to record the final 4 songs for the upcoming CD I plan on releasing it this year. So stay tuned for more information on this and please pray that it all goes well and funds will be available.

Fill Your Child with Music

I’m a firm believer that all kids should be exposed to playing an instrument even if it’s for a year or 2. It really exposes the kid to a whole new world at a young age, I believe it makes connections in the brain as well.  This past weekend, I needed to go to the violin shop to pick up a case for my daughter’s violin so I took my 10 year old son, Samuel, with me. Samuel plays piano and is learning how to swing the music. So when we were in the violin shop, I showed Samuel all the violins and then I showed him all the big string basses which are way bigger than he is. The staff person who helped us, happens to be a bass player so he pulled out one of those string basses and started playing it in front of my son Samuel. I asked the staff person to play some swing and so he did. I could see in the eyes of Samuel that he was impressed and tuned in. He was never exposed to someone playing a big string bass like that. It’s great to see people experience things for the first time.

Old Band Pic
Here’s an old pic of when I was in band called ‘Deceiver’. We had some great music back then. I remember this pic because it was shortly after I had my wisdom teeth pulled so my cheeks are still a bit puffed out.

Thanks for being a fan and thanks for the emails. Please check out my
