Hey folks,

No, we aren't breaking up.... We're going on a cruise to the bahamas!
Sean entered us in a contest and got us selected to play on the "Mountain Song at Sea" bluegrass festival cruise. We are super excited about it as a TON of our musical heroes will be there (Del McCoury Band, Peter Rowan, Tim O'Brien, David Grisman etc..), and of course we could all use some sun. All of the expenses are paid except getting us to Miami where the boat leaves, so our good friend Denis at The White Horse has arranged for some awesome raffles at our show this Friday to help with those expenses.
There's gonna be some White Horse gift certificates, a fiddle, baked goods, lifelong friendship, and other things like that you can buy cheap raffle tickets for. Or you can just come listen to the show....we've got some new songs that we're all really excited to try out! This Friday, the 18th from 7-9pm. Hope you can make it!

We're also playing two shows on Saturday if you'd like to stay on the bus and just go on tour with us....
We'll be playing the grand opening of "The Drag Bar" (previously "The Varsity Bar) at 2324 Guadalupe. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's called that because it's on the drag. Oh well, either way will be fun! There's gonna be a couple of burlesque dancers getting down while we're playing. That's certainly a first for me. It's right above Austin's pizza. 7-9pm
After that adventure we'll head over to everyone's favorite gourmet hot dog place... Frank! We've got a late show over there playing after Victor Holk and The Madisons. Should be a hoot!
Frank is at 4th and Colorado. We go on at midnight.

Check out this sweet video that our friend Jake made for the White Horse show. He made the video that got us on the cruise also!

Hope to see y'all somewhere!

Joe

"I’d already heard Freight Train and Richland Woman Blues, so I was in the palm of his hand."  www.roothogradio.com

"Sundell is indeed worth his salt...you will find balanced, workmanlike musicianship that gets the job done and seems deceptively relaxed and simple."  Joe Meazle, Rock Candy Blog/Arkansas Times

"This album is full of timeless bluegrass and folk melodies with a hint of ragtime inspiration that will have you dancing and singing along within minutes of popping the CD in for the first time."  Jodi Nimmo, The Current
