 > PLAY SONGS

Dear Friends,

It doesn't seem real that in the next seven days, we will play our last three shows with our beloved Bass Player, Mark Desrosiers. Over four years ago, he named the band and since then he has become an indispensable part of the TBH family. But there's no denying it any longer: he's off to San Fran for law school next weekend (via motorcycle - follow his adventures here) and there's nothing left to do but play these next three shows with all the BP-love in our blue hearts and give Mark a royal rock send-off next Friday from the stage of the famed Middle East Downstairs in Cambridge. Please join us in wishing him all the best!

"'Goodbye Juliet' [is] a summer treat full of swelling strings, soaring vocals, sick rock guitar and ’60s girl-group swagger." — Jed Gottlieb, The Edge, Boston Herald

"This Blue Heaven brought in the Borromeo String Quartet, an ensemble-in-residence at the New England Conservatory.... "On "Goodbye Juliet," you hear the quartet's work subtly woven into the fabric of the song, lifting Outlund's vocals as the song soars toward a finale." — Scott McLennan, Boston By Beat, Boston.com

"As evidenced by the classic, modern pop and strong ballads on Spinning and Shining, This Blue Heaven's future is very bright." — Ryan Spaulding, Ryan's Smashing Life (rslblog.com)
