Hey everyone,

The new album, American Rhymin, has officially been released and is available for download on CDBaby (www.cdbaby.com/cd/mattmonta) and on iTunes. Heck, you can even listen to it on Spotify if you're so inclined. I hope you'll take a moment to get a copy of the disc or your favorite tracks.

The release was celebrated last Saturday night at the Tree Bar in Columbus, Ohio. Come this morning, I was still reeling from such an amazing night.  So, I wanted to write and THANK YOU for all of your continued support and encouragement for my playing music. If it weren't for friends and fans like you all, I wouldn't be able to do things like put out an album or perform on a regular basis.

Now, you may have also wondered... "Matt, who were all those awesome musicians that performed on the night of your album release?" Here they are. Check 'em out and pick up their albums too. They've been huge inspirations to me.

I am also honored to be performing at the Ohio Poetry Association's Anthology Release at the Bexley Library on Saturday, April 13. They are release a 120-page anthology of award winning poems composed by OPA members and some of Ohio's best poets. It is called Everything Stops and Listens and will be available for sale at the release. The program runs from 2 PM to 5 PM and I'll be accompanied by Mr. Billy Cory on the upright bass.

So that's that. Please don't be stranger. Feel free to shoot me an email or catch me out around town. I have been getting into chess lately, so if you want, we can throw down over that too.

Thanks again for everything. You make this old dog feel worth his salt some days.

Sincerely,

Matt Monta
