Country / Pop Rock / New Country
Good Morning !
It's been a while since my last newsletter, but I've been super busy
working on some exciting things. My new EP Bible Belt is almost
done, it's being mastered right now and features a mix of old and new songs being
reproduced by Jason Garner at LIVING ROOM STUDIOS!
There will be no Superman songs on Bible Belt,
but fear not, I have some super exciting things going on that front. I'm just
starting to segment stuff for my mainstream fans and my "Super" Fans.
All my Superman stuff is now going to be directed to hardcore fans of the Man of
Steel and to help schools, hospitals, and charities raise funds for worthy causes,
including my partner charity, the Christopher Reeve Foundation.
I am kicking this off in Boston April 19-21 with live show and StageIt
Broadcast to benefit the Alliance For Children Foundation. All proceeds will go
to help homeless children in Haiti to get into homes and schools. You can help them
by attending my StageIt show April 19th at 6:30 and donating whatever you can.
Just log on to:http://www.stageit.com/allen_shervelle/benefit_concert_for_the_alliance_for_children_foundation_benefiting_homeless_haitian_children/21880
Then I'll be meeting and greeting
4,000 comic book fans all day Saturday and Sunday at my first comic book convention
at the Hynes Convention Center in Copley Square and I'll be playing both days at
3pm and the Comic Con after party Saturday night!

This is just the first of many
national Superman events I will be playing this year.
So if your a mainstream
fan, get ready for Bible Belt and if your a Superman fan, I may be "flying
to a city near you"! Hopefully you're fans of both and thanks for
supporting me no matter what!
"He made multiple trips here first and got a complete "lay of the land."
Then he applied what he had learned and people he met every day.
He got a job immediately and worked very well at it, advancing at his work position,
better tips, better position. That took care of his financial needs for now.
He also was out almost every night, performing and meeting other people. Within months
he was a feature on every writers night he played on.
From there he met a ton of people who were attracted to him by his energy, enthusasim
Now he is booking major shows (a showcase coming up next week at 12th and Porter)
has his own CD out, (featuring writers like Matt Casey) and is building a huge fan
And he never expects anything. He is humble, focused and just keeps moving forward.
He positively impacts everyone he comes into contact with.
That is all him. Not me.
So while yes, I take credit for pointing him in the right direction he did the rest." Marc
