it's your friendly neighborhood Nathan Carpenter again, here with a titilating update
about my upcoming release on Nacht Records.
We just finished recording and mixing over
the Cinco de Mayo / Supermoon weekend at Technical Ecstay studio in Milltown, NJ.
As always, everything was tracked and mixed in analog on 2-inch tape. Chris Pierce
was the man behind the board and he made the session shine and sizzle. If anyone
is looking for a fantastic, dirt cheap analog studio to record their band in, Pierce
is your guy.
Photos from the session:
band was hot. I'm surprised David Kindig (keys), Ben Ross (purcussion), and Mike
Noordzy (bass) didn't melt the tape right off the reels. Much attention should be
rediected towards them.
I am more proud of this than I ever have been of anything in
my life and this will continue to be true until either my first child is born or
I make another record as good as this one.
Once the record is mastered, it will be available
for download on nachtrecords.com and here on my reverbnation store. Soon ater that,
we will press it into a limited number of CDs with sweet art and lyrics. If an anonymous
donor decides to fund it, we will press it to vinyl.
