"Madison-Oneida American Red Cross holding annual Silent Auction April 29 in
Vernon -The event will feature local band The Pomeranians, with Oneida High School
graduates Dan MacAlpine, James Martin, Andy McHugh and Al Krula, who are volunteering
their time.
Chapter Executive Director Susan Tonra said the money raised will be applied to all
of the chapter’s programs with one program currently in need of greater assistance." MATT

"ONEIDA CASTLE —
The Oneida Castle Community Day was held in August at the village park. Approximately
100 village residents attended. There were games, food, door prizes and a local
band The Pomeranians performed. All the members of the band are former Oneida Castle
students.
This was the first community day and the committee is hoping to make this an annual
event." The Oneida Daily Dispatch
"Madison County observing National
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week Nov. 14-21
...The event will wrap up in Oneida on Saturday, Nov. 20 at La Vie Boheme Bistro
with a community concert, also free and open to all, featuring The Pomeranians from
6-8 p.m., during which participants will celebrate a successful week of raising
awareness and inspiring action.
