Dear Friends,

I am very excited to announce the release of my album "Nearness"!

The official street date is March 26th at which point the record will be available worldwide on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby.

On Monday March 25th, Johnny O'Neal (piano) and Stacy Dillard (sax) will join me at the Zinc Bar for a release concert. So save the date!

This Thursday I'll be performing at Duc des Lombards in Paris with "The Bruhn/Haake experience feat. Joel Holmes".

Sets at 8 and 10pm. So if you happen to be in the City of Love, do not miss this show! And of course feel free to forward this email to your Parisian friends!

I'm sitting in the airport right now, so I'll make it short..

But please check my website for updates and also to read reviews as they're coming in!

Best wishes to all you - and hope to see you soon!

"It wouldn’t be a strech to suggest that their [Bruhn and O’Neal] natural rapport is as affecting as Evans' with Tony Bennett in the late 1970's."  JazzTimes

"Completely unassuming, yet drawing you into her world."  Jazz Weekly

"The three are at their best in a glorious version of “But Beautiful”, with a lovely opening eight bars for voice and tenor, beautifully-sculpted improvisations by tenor and piano, and an often-surprising vocal variation. Thankfully, the rest of the tracks maintain this high standard of taste and quality. Highly recommended."  Thomas Cunniffe, jazzhistoryonline.com
