Mike Thomas started on piano at age 4. His influences then were Floyd Cramer, Vince Guaraldi (to name a few). Years later & after many different musical experiments, Mike still considers the keys his root instrument. He's emulated many styles from modern day players like George Winston, Yanni, Elton John, Billy Joel etc... But now Mike's pieces have emerged with his own signature style - melodic like George Winston's sound. Yet some songs have very orchestrated textures similar to Yanni's sound. All in all, pleasing, fun and upbeat to listen to. Mike engages his audience no matter what he plays. Check out some of the tunes in the player below (or on the demo CD if you're viewing a hard copy press kit). The selections are taken either from Mike's latest or forthcoming CD's.
