Welcome to the only site for Rhythm Mission songs. The photo above was taken and modified by Michelle Normoyle for back cover of Wild Mood Swings EP.
Rhythm Mission was created in 1982 and disbanded in 1989. During our seven year run, there were a few versions of the band. The first version (V1) was Dense Milt (Dennis Mills) vocals/sax, Scott Harding (Scotty Hard)-guitar, Warren Ash-drums, Warren Hunter-bass guitar, Lee Kelsey-keyboards, and Andy Graffiti-percussion. They released a seveni song ep WILD MOOD SWINGS on MODAMU, an artist run collective in Vancouver that included 54-40, Animal Slaves, Tin Twist, Junco Run, The Work Party etc.
Wild Mood Swings includes Lifes level, Dinosaur Rock, Hip Alone, Give Me Life, Medulla Oblong Gaddadavida, Donkey Beret, and Night.
The next version of Rhythm Mission was about 1985, and substituted Nick Tatroff (Niko) on keyboards, drummers varied, but settled on Ross Hales-drums.This version did not record.
Version 3 included Dense, Scott, Warren Hunter, Mark Douglas-keyboards, and Ross Hales, drums. We toured Canada, and recorded King Blood, The Crank, Heavy Metal Bee Hive, but the tracks were never released.
