I play acoustic sets, solo and with my friend Chris Ray. Chris and I also play guitar and vocals with our new group '49 South'.

I have been playing the guitar and piano for over 30 years, wow. I cut my musical teeth on a.m. radio, and then on to classic rock, movie soundtracks, and whatever I could get my ears on. I then found my true talent was writing music and lyrics. Living in the Mississippi delta area most of my life has definetly influenced the style that I write and play. There is a bluegrass touch to many of my tunes, but I love to make the guitar wail also. I recently won the sudience choice award at Lollapaloozas guitar shredding competition in Chicago. I got to play on stage with Carl Broemel of 'My Morning Jacket' and recieved an autographed Gibson from him also.

I do my best to play what people want to hear, and to put my own touch to it. I truly love
it when I impress someone by singing well or playing a solo with the guitar behind my head, and they call their friends between sets and brag about what they just saw.

All age groups really, from kids songs to after hours songs. Our band will do our best to play just about anything, and if we don't know it just keep coming back and we'll try to work on it.
I love it when the crowd starts dancing, but I also love when people are singing along and tapping a foot.
A deep blues background, along with just about anything on the jukebox, as well as some bluegrass, and definitely all southern rock. I've taken special interests in groups like the 'Beatles', 'The Jimi Hendrix Experience', 'Eric Clapton', and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

I have some tracks available for listening and downloading, and hope to be recording more soon.
