About me...

I've been making odkid songs with minimal equipment at home since 2001.
odkid was freakbient, dark ambient, lo-fi-sound & experimental.

The recent music is more varied and more slow, more warmer and optimistic too. Lo-fi still somewhat applies. The thing's going more and more towards ambience, simple melodies and minimalistic structures.

Releases

I've released two albums - a self-released album of 50 copies i Is A Black Hole (2005). i Is A Black Hole was just a collection of songs while Space Filler Tracks (2007) is a full album with much thought put into it (hopefully you, the listener, will receive something from it). The record came out from a new Belgian label vu-us run by the two members of Scaldis which is an idm/experimental/ambient-duo.

Current status & things in mind

I am working on new material and fixing the ideas together. I've debated for long with myself about productivity and releases. Seems like some music makers put out an album every 3 months and that's cool if they're good. That's just not my thing, I want to give more time to the ideas to develop and grow. So that the songs have an actual meaning and a place in my day-to-day life and that they come from real people, events and situations. Anyway, I will try to release something(s) in 2008 and am quite sure that songs will develop.
