Firedance was originally formed in 2006 by producer Marcel Otte and DJ/Producer Stephan Lohmann.

The duo has quickly made a name for themselves producing a fresh and familiar sound with superior production values.  Unashamedly influenced by earlier techno sounds, they have put a contemporary twist on the bedrock of their creative inspiration.  The use of superb vocalists has produced a series of cross-over hard dance tracks.

Marcel, on his own, continues to release tracks that find favour amongst top German clubs such as Fun (Essen) ,Playa (Bochum),Tarm Center (Bochum), Dj-Marathon 2000, Glaspalast (Dinslaken), König (Oberhausen)and Street Parade (Frankfurt).

Marcel has also worked with a variety of German producers and labels: Essential Dj Team, Remote Records, Tremplin Beat Production, De-ton-Nation Production, Apopleks, Genlooks and Mega Hook Productions to name but a few.

Not content with developing just one sound, Marcel also releases under the name 'Hardformers': The Hardformers sound is all hard vocal dance.
