'GOLDEN STATE OF MIND' DROPS AUG. 19

OPM was formed in 1999 and is based Southern California.

California Poppy is OPM's third full length album. The album was produced by OPM at MNO, their studio located in the heart of Hollywood. This record was produced in a more traditional style, writing songs, rehearsing them as a band and then going in to the studio and recording drums, bass, guitars, keys and vocals as compared to their last two records, which primarily started as programmed beats and then evolved into songs.

This album features: Daddy X from Kottonmouth Kings, Kaleo from Pepper, Jim from Dumbluck and reggae legend Yellowman!

OPM's first album, Menace to Sobriety, was released by Atlantic records. It was this album that dawned the international skateboarder's anthem, "Heaven is a Halfpipe."

Following this, OPM found a home at the highly influential underground label Suburban Noize Records. They dropped their second full length cd For Them Asses followed by the EP In The OPMDEN and then California Poppy in stores now.
