Bio
The Better Youth Organization was created in the early 80s, a time when there were very few channels through which some of the first punk bands could release music, organize live shows, and tour. BYO has always been dedicated to promoting alternative music, art and other creative endeavors in a completely independent manner. It has become one of the oldest and most respected indie labels in the world. BYO has released over 100 albums to date and has worked with many of the top punk bands over the past 25 years, including 7 Seconds, Hepcat, Bouncing Souls, Royal Crown Revue, The Unseen, NOFX, Leatherface, Alkaline Trio, Anti-flag, The Briefs, and Rancid to name a few.

5 more tracks off BYO's 'Let Them Know' compilation are here! This week is anchored by the NoFX cover of 'No More Lies' (Originally by Battalion of Saints). Said Shawn Stern of the NoFX recording:
"When we asked Fat Mike to do a song he immediately told us he was gonna cover SNFU cause he loves them. So it was quite surprising when we got the recording of BOS but I have to say they killed it. Mike told me the SNFU songs just weren't working and he thinks this comp is one of the best punk comps so that worked out well. Mark Rude brought Battalion of Saints to record their tracks on the Someone Got Their Head Kicked In comp and we had never met them. When George recorded his vocals we had to set up a baffle to partition him away from everyone in the booth cause he didn't want to be seen while he sang and he moved around as if he was on stage. Kinda strange, but the songs kick ass!"
