“Opener track "Dead Stop" hits home hard and doesn’t take a moment to let up. The inexplicably contagious, albeit raw, rhythm of this song when combined with Si’s dirty vocals, makes for a sure fire hit.”
“Overclocked, Under Threat is best described as the 30 year old you’re not entirely sure you invited to your party, who has drunk all the beer, eaten all the food and is hitting on all your friends. You may not have invited him, but frankly, he doesn’t care and you kind of want to get to know him anyway after you’ve busted out a secret stash of whiskey saved for emergencies.”
“Straight-forward, heavy-hitting and down right filthy are, By Definition, what this Brighton, UK based Southern/Stoner Metal band are all about. The band bulldozes through four titanic chunks of raw, unpolished heaviness on their latest EP "Overclocked, Under Threat". Leading the way is the mesmerizing gritty snarl of vocalist Si. Each song shit-kicks you with punishing riffage, bombastic drumming and a whiskey-swilling attitude. These boys have been putting a boot up your ass for some time now with their high octane live shows. Show your support and check them out!”
"Red Lines" pounds along at a good tempo, keeping the head nodding throughout. A very short song at only 2:18 it does however manage to sound just the right length. […] What other songs fail to do in 4/5 minutes this does in this short space of time, giving us a range of verses, bridges and choruses, all delivered well. The musicianship here is tight, it's punchy and it's well showcased. Great stoner riffs mix with dirty drumming, a pounding bass and very clear and good sounding vocals with just the right amount of grit in them.
