Formed in the Early '70's, Buster James Band came out of the British rock and blues scene. Playing to great crowd reaction, they supported many top name groups from that era. They scored a major record deal and booked a recording session in 1972, but their guitarist decided not to play full time professional. The recording session was offered to and accepted by the next band signed, Queen!!!!

“Buster James Band - I first spotted these hard-rawkin' dudes on REVERBNATION, hooked up with their US agent,and a ton of CD material followed for my review. This stellar band o' rockers take me (way) back to when MC boots were my footwear.. just the kind of music you need for that L-O-N-G ride! All the way from the scorching opener, "Catch The Rain" to the drivin' power of "Western Heart", you'll find yourself well-fueled & totally pumped, peepz! Listeners who didn't grow up during the '60's & '70's will prolly think of this as "new rock", but it's what I cut my rock teeth on - absolute KILLER stuff! My absolute favorite track was "Here I Go", on the "GOD AND GREED" CD. Even if you don't have a lot of disturbing rock in your collection, the energy levels alone make this band worth checking out (in a BIG way, folks). Very nice to discover energy like this - they get a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from me, with an "EQ" (energy quotient) rating of 4.99.
