In 1999, Buddy formed ‘American Bedouin’ with the release of the bands self-titled first CD. The CD received critical acclaim and the band has played festivals, theaters and clubs across the U.S. .
In 2002 Buddy was named ‘Artist in Residence’ for the city of Dallas, TX. That same year he ran for Dallas County Commissioner on the Green Party ticket.
