Country blues folk duo Buck & Deanne accompanied by a full band lineup are proud to launch their 3rd album of 12 original songs, “The Busker & The Choirgirl”. Following on from their critically acclaimed 2010 debut “Demons Passed” this new material takes their romantic musical collaboration to the next level. Buck & Deanne have produced a mixed bag of steamy blues and country twang, the kind of gorgeous, down-home folk music that Gillian Welch and David Rawlings might’ve created if they’d skipped music school and learned the ropes singing in choirs and busking on street corners. The evening includes a number of surprise guests, and Sydney’s own indie-folknik Chelsea Gibson in support. Doors open at 7pm.
The Artists Shed at 14 Foster Street Queanbeyan is presenting The Buck & Deanne Band with faithful companion Nick Williams and a slew of special guests launching their new album “The Busker & The Choir Girl”. Entry is by paper note donation and proceedings kick off around 2pm. The Amazing 3 hit the stage around 3.45pm. (Positive Feedback Loop in Support.) Don't dare miss this afternoon of steamy blues and country twang in a cosy, relaxed setting.
