BVC tours Nationally with TROUBADUO
~Not doing what your heart says is suicide~
About
TROUBADUO.com ~ Performing over 150 shows each year ~ TROUBADUO.com
Bryson VanCleve is an artist writing all genres of music with a Delta attitude & no bubblegum added. In music and Life, he never lost the influences from the deep south (Arkansas) where he was born and raised. BVC fronted and wrote for his band Wake the Dawn in Little Rock, AR in 1999-2005, and for BVC & The Show in Los Angeles, CA from 2005-08. BVC resided in L.A. for 4 years where he met his wife, singer/songwriter Jill Marie.
Feeling a bit out of place in the L.A.'s pop scene, the two formed a life companionship & partnership hitting the road full-time with their acoustics as the soul singing duo, TROUBADUO.
Today Troubaduo calls the road their home touring 9 months per year. From Folk/Rock & Americana to high energy Rock & Blues/Soul, to psychedelic country & sunshine pop, Troubaduo writes all genres from their soul as they feel called.
BVC has been influenced by artists such as:
Tom Petty & the Hearbreakers, Steve Earle, Gillian Welch, Stevie Wonder, Ben Harper, Van Morrison, Mavis Staples, Chris Whitley, Allman Brothers, Counting Crows, Willie Nelson, The Beatles, The Black Crowes, Bruce Springsteen, Fiona Apple, Tom Waits, Ryan Adams & Blues Traveler.
BVC tours Nationally as TROUBADUO 9 months a year continuing to build a solid following, however his largest fan base has been built and maintained in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas. Over the past four years in Little Rock, Bryson VanCleve ticket sales have ranged from 314 at the smallest turnout to 664 tickets sold at one of the most recent concerts.
CURRENT WORK:
The New Indie/acoustic based album, "HALFWAY TO HOMELESS" has finally been released as of January 2009. Buy the CD at www.BrysonVanCleve.com and at ITunes!
Bryson recently recorded the songs We Carry On, Serenity & Peace of Mind under the production/mixing of Bob Daspit featuring Curt Bisquera on drums. (Daspit is best known for his nine years of music/film compositional work for Hans Zimmer, his software development for Spectrasonics Inc. and his production/engineering for Sammy Hagar. World re-known drummer Curt Bisquera does extensive studio work for major label acts today, and has drummed for legends such as Elton John, Tom Petty, Seal, Clint Black, Mick Jagger, Johnny Cash, Warren Hill, etc., etc.) Bisquera and Daspit will continue to work with Troubaduo as the two write and record new music.
Bryson VanCleve worked for www.premiereradio.com in Los Angeles composing live ban radio beds. He along with members from his band wrote and recorded these beds in a variety of genres showing the extreme talent and musicianship of "The Show" and the engineering/production work of VanCleve in the studio. Premiere Radio is the industry's leader in dealing with live radio for the nation's top and most popular programs from Jim Rome to Delilah to Rush Limbaugh. BVC & The Show released over 175 recordings that were used by Premiere's stations in 2008. BVC & The Show radio beds changed the industry by using a band to record live music for radio voice-overs on their programs. This has been groundbreaking in the industry since everyone else uses midi recordings rather than a live rock band. "Bryson VanCleve & The Show" was the first known band used for live band radio recordings on an international base. When BVC left L.A. to tour with Troubaduo he left premiere. Premiere continues to use the live band radio bed concept they came up with and it is gaining more interest in the industry each month as reports continue to favor real musicians over midi recordings.
Troubaduo has formed a partnership with the non-profit organization www.PreemptiveLove.org in assoc w/ www.BuyShoesSaveLives.com
