after playing guitar in the pit for musicals and theatre shows, i started gigging localy to pay the way. I made backing tracks on an old Fostex x26 that used to slow down as it heated up and change key throughout the gig. As time progressed and mini discs led to DAT led to mp3 I ended up playing in bands in Spain and the Middle East, notably doing the top class hotels such as Inter con in Muscat and Crown plaze in Dubai. Returning to the uk after a long stint abroad playing as a gigging musician I now teach and record at home whilst gigging on weekends and for big events .I have played many styles in my time and so my playing is a mixture of influences but blues and Floyd remain the key ones with perhaps a right hand influenced by knopfler
