Bio
Bruce Ling began his life on the South Side of Chicago, and began playing guitar at age four under the tutelage of his father and uncle, both working musicians performing Country/Western and Rock and Roll, respectivly.
Since 1997, Bruce has fronted his own band "Hawks and Owls string band", playing a mix of acoustic, country blues, bluegrass, Appalachian, and original fiddle tunes. He is widely regarded for his thorough understanding of the evolution of American Traditional Music, and treats...
