Bio
I've played "things with strings" in dozens of bands over many years.
Electric and acoustic guitar, mandolin, bass, dulcimer and bouzouki to name but a few. And I've played in many genres - rock, pop, blues, acoustic, folk, Traditional Irish, in fact almost everything except jazz and opera!
These days I mainly just write and record in my home studio.
About
Involved with music and bands in Perth, Western Australia since the late '60's when I played rhythm, lead and bass guitars with a variety of pop and rock bands. However by the mid '70's I had tired of the scene and virtually retired until the early '90's when I started playing acoustic music.
2001 and 2002 were busy years for me, gigging in three different bands:- Dingo's Breakfast (an Oz music and poetry band), Off My Cloud (a pub circuit Rolling Stones tribute band) and Otters Brew (a medieval folk-rock band).
I relocated to the south coast of WA in 2003 and have become more involved in writing and recording than in gigging since then.
