Bio
Many years ago, Todd Mincks and Brett Miller performed as an acoustic duo called "Brother Wiley." In about 2006 they picked up more people and changed to the Mincks & Miller Band. In 2009 they exercised their prerogative as free-thinking citizens of these United States and changed the band's name back to Brother Wiley. Sometimes, when there's room on the marquee, they become Brother Wiley & Sister Gray. So there.
About
Brother Wiley has an eclectic sound that reaches from the creek water sounds of acoustic guitars and standup bass to the hardcore gravel bar of thundering drums, electric bass, and a screaming Les Paul. They have been compared to The Byrds, The Jayhawks, The Flying Burrito Brothers, REM, James Taylor, and Buffalo Springfield.
BW is currently in the studio working on their second album.
