New band Broken Road connecting with radio and live audiences
| ||||||||||||||
With their debut radio single, "Thinkin' Outside the Box," already generating significant national airplay, Georgia's Broken Road is a band on the move. Although together less than a year, the group's easy chemistry and entertaining live shows have made them a club favorite across the Southeast.
"Our music is inspirational and hits you emotionally," said Broken Road lead singer Tim Cadiere. "We take country music to some new places with fun, Lousiana-style beats and a little gospel thrown in."
Founded by Atlanta drummer Brad Smith, fellow Georgian and fiddle player Waylin Wright, and Cadiere, who is from Houma, La., Broken Road has toured extensively, including opening shows for artists like Hank Williams, Jr. and headlining music festivals, including Mulefest in Athens, Ga.
Broken Road is currently readying their debut album, with award-winning producer Bruce Bennett at the helm.
