Broke By Monday was formed in the summer of 2004 in the singer's garage on the west side of Cleveland. June,J-Fo and Brian came up with enough songs to realize that a full band would have to be the next step. After ripping through 15 different combinations of drummers and bass players, Nick and Cholly-O won the endurance match and have been playing steady with the band since early 2007.

The music bounces through rock, punk, reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, ska, and even some alt-country style sounds at times. The band has toured many parts of the country and has a good nationwide fan-base, thanks in great deal to the internet word of mouth. The first CD was released independently Dec 2005, and the follow up will be released sometime in 2008, with an even wider array of music displayed.
