Bay Area Singer-Songwriter Brindl’s soulful and compelling performances have captivated audiences up and down the West Coast and beyond.  Brindl’s music offers a unique style of Folk Nouveau that is both timeless and modern, mingling flavors of singer-songwriter folk, acoustic blues and sultry old time jazz. Her new album, Acoustic Heart, is an acoustic collection of twelve original songs infused with grace, sensuality and grit.

Growing up in Northern California she was influenced by everything from 30’s Big Band/Jazz (her Grandmother was NBC big-band singer Connie Gates,) to singer-songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Neil Young.  As a teenager she began writing poetry and after teaching herself piano and guitar, her poetry evolved into songwriting.  After studying film production at UC Santa Cruz, she recorded her first album Sweet Underneath in 2001, Nice Girl EP in 2004 and Acoustic Heart in 2008. 

In 2008 she started Moxy Music, an independent music label, and launched Moxy MusicOnline.com, an online resource for musicians.Brindl is currently working on her next album, due out late 2009.
