Band Bio
Bright Friday Drive are a three piece band, originally from Cornwall.
They formed in November 2005 and have gone on to gig extensively, gaining a strong fan base and attracting attention from several independent record labels. Also well known artists have given the band positive feedback and encouragement to pursue their dream commenting on the quality and promise of their music.
They have recorded demos of their songs over three studio sessions and have booked another recording session for Summer 2007 to record new material.
In November 2006 they won a regional Battle of the Bands which was covered by BBC Radio Cornwall. They have also received favourable regional media attention. The West Briton music review and gig write up stated that Bright Friday Drive ‘produce a surprisingly huge sound'.. are able to ‘plough real emotional depths'.. range from ‘gentle yearning to anthemic rock' and declared.. 'that they sound so fully formed, so early is scarily exciting'...
