Bridge Underwater is the recording name of Philadelphia singer-songwriter Patrick Mellon. Since August of 2005, Bridge Underwater has released over one hundred songs on various internet music sites, most notably the internet radio website Last.Fm. The music ranges from simple lo-fi tunes to experimental "noise delights.” The first release by Bridge Underwater was a collection of 11 songs titled Some Songs.
