The Grocery Song

Goin’ to the store for just a few things.
I’ll be back in just a little while.
If you haven’t seen me in a few days,
Just assume that I went out of style.

Pushing on a shopping cart with three wheels,
And one that wants to cruise a different isle;
Tried to turn around but hit a few things;
It looks like I might be here for awhile

The check out line has oh, so many choices.
Paper, plastic, I just can’t decide.
I just remembered, I forgot my checkbook.
Aint got no groceries, but at least I tried.
