Bio: Brass Tacks is a 10-piece jazz band created by Amy Duncan in New York in 1984 as a vehicle for her arrangements and compositions. She is currently living in Rio de Janeiro, where she put the band together with Brazilian musicians in 2000 and recorded a CD, My Joy, in 2002.
