About
Brandon Shane 4-24- 1948 to 4-3-2009
Please Light A Candle In Brandon Shane Memory by going to his pride & joy , the hopes & dreams for independent country artists www.muserevolution.biz/
Brandon Lynn Shane knew country music. Whether he was performing for this fans, writing songs, or producing the latest indie country music artists, he conveyed the heart and soul of country music. His music was modern and current, but he didn't abandon the sounds and traditions of country music to chase the latest fads
Brandon was raised in Texas, which influenced him greatly. Not only did the Texas music sound affect the music he created, but he also learned about country music from his father, Bob, who played in a country music band. Brandon followed in his father's footsteps, performing in bands and touring the nation. He became a seasoned stage veteran touring with or opening for several artists and bands including the Colt band out of Dallas, TX, Johnny Bush, Tony Booth, Hank Thompson, David Frizzell and Shelly West, Johnny Rodriquez, Ray Price, Ernest Tubb, Darrell McCall, John Wesley Ryles, Restless Heart, Travis Tritt, Larry Butler, Mel McDaniels, The Mason Dixon Band, John Anderson, Steve Wariner, Kenny Dale, Tanya Tucker, Fiddlin Frenchie Burke, and Red Stegall. He even headlined at Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Brandon was a prolific songwriter, having written thousands of songs in various styles including country (traditional and new), Gospel, and western swing.
After winning the Tennessee Valley Vocalist of the Year award in 2002, Brandon decided to move to Nashville to focus on writing songs and producing indie country music artists. He regularly appeared at writers' venues like The Hall of Fame Club, The Sutlers, The French Quarter Café, and the Broken Spoke.
In the producing world, Brandon was one of the hottest indie country music producers. His company, Mirror Image Productions, used some of Nashville's Top “A List” session pickers to produce music that was as good as any major label product. Brandon knew how to bring the best out of the artists he produced. Artists he produced include Darlene Marie McCoy, Melissa Cleveland, Nicole Nichols (Joe Nichols cousin), Jeff Smithart, Marie Hodson, and Natalie Logan.
One of the truly good guys in the music industry, Brandon was dedicated to sharing his experiences with new and indie artists. He gave the artists he produced sound, solid advice and his dream was to pass that knowledge onto a larger audience. He was the co-founder of MuseRevolution.com and editor of MuseRevolution Magazine, which are both dedicated to helping indie country music artists and advancing independent country music.
Brandon Lynn Shane embodied country music. He lived the life of a touring artist, he wrote thousands of songs, he produced a many indie country music artists, and has passed on the knowledge he gained in 35 years of experience in the country music industry. Good, honest people are hard to find in the music industry, but Brandon Lynn Shane was one of them and will be remembered.

Written In A Country Song
In Memory Of Brandon Shane
A light has gone out of my life ,
morning rituals aren’t the same.
things we both once took in stride
Now only tears fall like a hard rain
I’ve been down this path before
At times I want to be angry
And I ask “ WHY “ once more
Will the truth make me less hungry
Will it nourish my need for answers
Be able to make sense of all of this
Like perfect timing of a ballet dancer
I go through the motions, not a step I miss
I know you’d want me to carry on
And never let your dreams die
I can hear you say girl be strong
I don’t want to make you cry
Remember all the good times
My memory will live on
As strong as bourbon or as sweet as wine
It’s all written in my country songs
One more tear drop falls
I wipe it away and take a deep breath
Glance at your picture on my wall
One more day to share what you left
The light in my life will never return
I’ve lost loved ones by the score
In my thoughts their memories still burn
Roll in like the tide that meets the shore
I go through the routine of another day
Waiting for the last song to spin for the night
When I can bow my head and pray
God keep his soul within your eternal light
Let him soar like an eagle and sing in Heaven
May he look down upon us from above
May we never forget all he’s given
All that he dreamed and loved
So listen and try to be strong
feel every hook and every line
He’s written in his country songs
For those he’s left behind
Maybe we’ll never know “Why “
Only that his heart was in pain
He felt he couldn’t even try
A restless wind he couldn’t tame
As all our tears continue to flow
Our own grief seeking paths of freedom
For his family, his friends and his precious soul
May he rest in peace in God’s Kingdom
