“The FWB BBQ Festival was held at “The Landing” in Fort Walton Beach featuring some local bar-b-que restaurants, and several other vendors. Bottom’s Up Band opened up and rocked the place out, followed by Cabo Rock to close out the night (not pictured). We ran into Chris Manson walking the streets, Chronic Jester performing steps from highway 98, Andy Durand, Leon set up the music, 99 Rock was representing, Daniel Guilliot was filming for WEAR channel 3, and the Johnny the Baptist! Excellent food, incredible music! You still have a chance to check it out, because the festival is going on tomorrow too!”
“It was Bottom’s Up Bands big day, HUNDREDS of bikers and plenty of “non-bikers” were on hand to enjoy some outside fun. Local treasures Gary Clark and Andy Durand joined BUB’s Preston Morelock, Matt Oakley, and Derek Givans in a few songs, an unexpected surprise to say the least. Great prices, good people, and wonderful times at The Outpost for Bikers in Freeport FLorida folks. I am always impressed by the way the management team and staff handle every situation thrown at them, while keeping an extremely clean, fun, and organized operation going on at the same time.”
“ARRRGGGHHHHH Mateys! What a weekend with The Bottoms Up Band! Nothing better than a bunch of pirates with the voice of Ashley Wing flowing through the crowd and pirate ships! BUB played many of the great 80s favorites that had pirates of all ages out of their seats dancing. We even had a celebrity sighting. Andy Durand and his amazing woman Suzi joined Jessica Givans and the 30asongwriterradio crew to catch a few songs. In case you missed this awesome weekend you can catch Preston, Derek, Matt and Ashley regularly all over the panhandle. TALLYHO and hope to see you at the next BUB party.. ”
“I stopped by Marie’s Bistro this weekend to see the Bottoms Up Band. Got some delicious food in my hungry belly and my BUB fix all in one stop. Ashley and the boys were rockin’ the crowd as always. We even got to hear a new original “Burn”. I can’t wait to get my hands on the CD they have been working on!”
“BEST FEMALE VOCALIST Presented by Forrest Williams Season Ammons Cheryl Jones Kelsey Anna Dannica Lowery Ashley Wing (The Bottoms Up Band). “Congratulations to our girl,” the band posted on Facebook. “We are proud to call her our bandmate. We are all blessed to be in this together.” Some were surprised that Wing took the honors, at least until they heard her sing. The Bottoms Up Band played a smoldering set immediately after Wing accepted her award.”
“If you like your music played loud and hard and your dance floor full, Bottoms Up is the band for you! Seriously, this was the hardest band to photograph because the dancers were absolutlely tireless! Ashley, Matt, Preston and A.J. are natural entertainers and approach their shows like party hosts. With a genuine love for the music, Bottoms Up delivered a heap of great dance tunes, like “Brick House” and “Superstition”. Matt and Ashley even busted out a little Steve Perry. My favorite song of the night would have to be their original song, “A Little of You” . When asked about their nominations in the Beachcomber Music awards, they expressed their “heartfelt appreciation” but also said it was “totally unexpected”. Look for the Bottoms Up Band and a ton of local talent at the Village Door this Monday night for the Beachcomber Music Awards. By Tami”
