“Boone Cook caught our attention at the beginning of 2014 with their single “Maybe” (ft Charla Corn). Then they made us fans with their 2nd single “You Know” which reached #65! Boone was featured on Justin Frazell’s Texas Red Dirt Roads Show a couple of times and played some great venues like the Wormy Dog and Gas Money. They also got to open up for some of the best in the business like Brandon Rhyder, Stoney Larue, and Sean McConnell! (Side note from TMP: Do yourself a favor and check out their song “Weather Man”, you’ll thank me later) They plan to head back to the studio this year and put together a 5 or 6 song EP and are preparing to release their first single of 2015, “Don’t Turn the Light On”! The band is in the early stages of booking a multi-state tour this summer. As for what the rest of 2015 holds Cook said ” Our plan is to dedicate more time in the smaller grass roots venues in order to share a more intimate experience with our fans."”
