Bio: We think you're crazy to make an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us. In the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal.

Does that answer you... See Full Bio

Q: where did you guys get your ideas for your songs? eg 'woman'??
A: The first two tracks we've released Both Sides and Woman were originally the creation (riff wise) by our lead singer/guitarist Sandi Humphrey and our Bass player/vocalist Aaron Jackson. These two are as close as close can be and spend countless hours hanging out, jamming and recording ideas. Both songs took form pretty quickly and were originally written as a four piece with the addition of Organ and drums. Lyrics, however in the land of Bombay Scarlet, take much much longer to manifest :) Woman came about first simply as the word "woman" the rest of the lyrics were added by band as a whole. Sandi has a cool way of free-styling melodies for songs by singing made up words and sometimes noises during rehearsals and writing sessions to play around with getting the song feeling right before we tie ourselves into any lyrics. Pretty sure Woman is more on the metaphorical side where as Both Sides, the chorus in particular, Sandi is singing about something far more personal and not exactly what would first come to mind :) But as all art, it is open for interpretation and ownership by whoever is cool enough to listen to it.
