Q: Great production value on all your music. Do you write your music in the studio or in advance of recording?
A: Thanks a lot. Several of my songs have been written for years and I am only now getting to record them so I go in with everything defined. All the rest and all new songs from now on will be written in pro tools as I record them. Its a great way to try this bass line or that guitar riff. I write the vocal hooks in conjuction with whatever effect or sound I am applying to them. It changes the way you sing the line.
