A prolific songwriter and uber-talented guitarist (who was one of the youngest professors ever to teach at the famed Berklee School of Music,) Bobby Lee Rodgers has managed to bring a Jazz sensibility to Rock in an accessible and exuberant way. His talent has attracted a wide variety of fans and collaborators such as Hubert Sumlin, Vassar Clements, Jimmie Heath and Jimmy Herring. He’s played the largest rock Festivals Bonnaroo and Vegoose, toured Europe as a jazz player, and traveled to Japan with his rock band. In the fall of 2009, Rodgers is touring with Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Jeff Coffin, who spent years touring with Bela Fleck and is now a permanent member of the Dave Matthews Band.
