Each of these divinely inspired solo artists has a panoply of projects going on either side of the Atlantic––Mapaka in Africa and Paris, James in California. They hunkered down in Paris one cold winter and produced almost 20 songs in a few weeks in Mapaka's apartment studio. "All the Universe" is both testament to their diverse influences--african pop to norcal hip/hop to age-old soul--and tribute to the booty shakers of the world.
