The current lineup of The Blues Pharoahs is Brother Brad Karow on drums and vocals,Tom Mahon on Piano and vocals, Ace Torres on Guitar,also Scotty Warren on Guitar. Jason Arford on bass(With Richard Callahan,and Vladamir Yarovinsky filling in on bass at times.)Also Steve Garcia fronts the Band for the most part, with Harmonica and vocals.Pete Tracy Blows sax with us(which is particuarly cool on the jazz standards we play.) Josie Wales lends vocals whenever she can. Mike Manion plays slide trombone with us whenever he can.Both Tom and I have Played with many groups of note. James Harman, Kim wilson, Ronnie Earl,Chuck Berry,Johnnie Dyer,Jay Macnielly,Smokie Wilson,Tomcat Courtney,Jimmy Rodgers,Papa john Creech,Roy Gaines,Billy boy Arnold,Louisiana red,King Earnest, Junior Watson,Charles Walker,to name a few. We love the Blues, Swing,and Boogie Woogie. Tom Mahon Is one of the Very Best on Boogie Woogie.Along the way the blues Pharoahs have given such notable artists as Nathan James, Billy Watson, Robbie Eason, Joey Jadzewski among others their first experience in a blues band. The above artists have gone on to great heights as blues players,and we are indeed proud of them.We have also had the pleasure of playing with Adrian demain,Johnny Vernazza,Johnny viau,Lil' Mark Buchich,Mark Mumer,Curtis Smith, and just a whole host of Great Players.
