What do you get when you take punk rock roots, heavy metal riffs, country pickin', and circus tent stage antics?.....STEP RIGHT UP to the Dredneks! An amalgam of musical styles shambled into a gracefully awkward, ceaselessly entertaining, yet surprisingly impressive, array of musicianship and live debauchery. A creative mess of acrobatics and lyrical absurdity assure an enjoyable show every time! From 40 minutes to 4 hours the energy doesn't stop and the performance never dull. Mixing cover music and originals, written by legitimate crazy people, puts the Dredneks in a league of their own! See you in the pit!

Q: do you think Genesis was better with Phil of Peter singing?
A: This is an ongoing discussion point within the band, so a long winded answer will ensue. As a singer, I respond to the character and soul of Pete's voice much more. He's also more unique, visionary, and creative. Phil has (had) better pitch control perhaps, but he's quite generic and sings with his throat all the time. Phil may have sold more albums, but Pete sold more albums than most avant-garde artists. He essentially maintained his artistic credibility and sold a lot of records. There's also no denying that Genesis was at it's creative peak with Peter. With the whole package in mind as to what an artist, singer, and entertainer should be, Pete far and away wins this by a landslide.
