Bio
Bludstone was formed in 1989 by Ralph Augustus Parker III and James "Sonny" Gibson. There have been many line-up changes with the only consistent member being Augustus. The band has also been called Gojira, Cinerator and Not Rite; settling back on Bludstone when these names were found to have already been used. On June 4, 2010 Bludstone played a show to commemorate the very first gig and on June 3rd 2011 Bludstone came of age at 21 years. Unfortunately James Gibson passed away in late 2010 ...

Well it was a good run. 21 years to be exact. We'll still play shows if we get lots of cash or for a good cause; but playing shows where the folks who say they love you never show up is a bit of a drag. If you want your favorite local bands to do well, you should get out and see them. You had your chance.
