“Judging from all of the dancing, cheers and applause last night, rock band “Blaze of Glory,” the Bon Jovi Experience really rocked Rockwall concert-goers at the weekly Thursday night “Concert By The Lake,” sponsored by the City of Rockwall’s Parks & Recreation Dept. As usual, the crowd was large at the event – at least 3,000 or so people were in attendance. Lead singer Trae Doss – who looks, dresses and acts the part of Jon Bon Jovi quite well – is quite a showman and fine singer. He had a lot of ladies up and dancing, swooning to his singing. Doss explained between songs that the band members are all tremendous fans of Bon Jovi and they chose their name from his famous “Blaze of Glory” song from the movie Young Guns II. He said with their performances they pay homage to him and all he’s done for rock music. Looks like people across DFW agree that they’re doing a fine job because they’re playing to great reviews across the Metroplex. ”
“@JackFMDFW: Blaze of Glory stole the show tonight attracting so many fans to the East Plaza Stage at #JacksThrowback!”
“I just wanted to send you a huge “THANK YOU” for the performance the Blaze of Glory gave on Saturday at Maize Days! It was AWESOME!! I know the weather was not anything that we would have wanted, but I greatly appreciate the attitude that y’all had toward the situation. I heard from so many people in the audience that they were blown away by how great your show was! I will definitely be in touch about future opportunities in Murphy and can’t wait to have Blaze back again! Please pass this along to the other guys in the group and let them know that even with the small turnout the event was huge success! Keep Rockin’ Man!!!! ”
“Blaze of Glory proved to be a dead ringer for Bon Jovi. This Bon Jovi "tribute band" put on a fine show at The Concert Pub this past month. I swear, lick by lick and note by note, this band had every song down perfect.”
“One of the largest crowds ever in Rockwall, est. at nearly 10,000 people, jammed into The Harbor entertainment district last night to celebrate the end of school, beginning of Summer and listen to the popular Blaze of Glory “Bon Jovi Experience” band. Teens, adults and children were everywhere - laughing, picnicking and dancing at the free concert, sponsored every Thursday by the City of Rockwall’s Parks and Recreation department and several Harbor restaurants through September 24. Thousands of cars filled The Harbor’s normally ample parking lots, while dozens of drivers could be seen driving around trying desperately to find somewhere to park even an hour after the concert’s 7:30 pm start. Dozens of boats were anchored together off shore, filled with hundreds of fun-loving people eating, drinking and diving into Lake Ray Hubbard in their bikinis and swim trunks. Playing such well-known tunes as “It’s My Life,” “Living On A Prayer” and “Blaze of Glory,””
“Blaze of Glory, O’Riley’s, 1/31/09 Why didn’t somebody tell me Bon Jovi was doing the club circuit? Oh, my bad. That’s Trae on lead vocals for Blaze of Glory. These guys really deliver a professional sound. Very clean vocals indeed. “Living On A Prayer” was great, with the crowd doing their best in a very loud sing-a-long. Honestly, I’m not a big Bon Jovi fan, but this band had me singing every word, to every song! (Ray InFante) ”
